Our Founder
Where Biblical Truth Meets Real-World Experience
Grace & Guard was founded from a deep love for God and a passion for people.
Our Founder is a servant leader, social scientist, educator, researcher, and victim advocate with more than two decades of experience spanning law enforcement, courts, corrections, higher education, nonprofit leadership, research, and victim advocacy. She holds a PhD in Criminology from Old Dominion University and is certified in Trauma and Resiliency through Florida State University.
What makes her work unique is the intersection of deep faith and real-world experience.
She understands that ministry meets people in the middle of real life—through seasons of uncertainty, trauma, leadership challenges, grief, conflict, and change. Through Grace & Guard, she brings biblical truth, practical wisdom, and professional expertise together to help people navigate those moments with greater understanding and purpose.
Our Co-Founder & CEO
Leadership Shaped by Service and Experience
As a devoted servant of God, our Co-Founder and CEO brings more than four decades of leadership and ministry experience across law enforcement, fire service, and emergency management. He holds a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership and Organizational Management from Johns Hopkins University and is certified in Trauma and Resiliency through Florida State University.
His years of service have given him a unique understanding of how to lead people, navigate pressure, respond to crisis, and build strong teams. At Grace & Guard, he brings that experience to the church through leadership development, team building, crisis preparedness, and safety, helping leaders and ministry teams become better equipped to serve the people entrusted to them.
His philosophy is simple:

Through Grace & Guard, he helps churches develop leaders, strengthen teams, prepare for the unexpected, and create environments where people can grow, serve, and be cared for well.
Our Team
The Grace & Guard team is comprised of individuals who serve the Lord and have expertise in the areas of ministry, discipleship, leadership, trauma- care, advocacy, emergency management, public safety, education and much more!
Our team is grounded in experience, guided by Scripture, and driven by a shared commitment to “go and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19).
